Profile:

Tomáš Kot engages primarily in programming - from simple applications, to control systems and graphical simulation systems. He focuses mainly on the Visual Studio.NET development environment (Visual C++, Visual Basic and Visual C# languages). He also devotes himself to creation of HTML pages, using the PHP language.

Another specialization is simulations of complex mechatronic systems in MSC/Adams.

Brief CV:

Born 1980 in Frýdek-Místek.

1995-1999: Secondary Technical School in Frýdek-Místek. Field of study: Technical Administration in Engineering.

1999-2004: Master's studies at VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Field of study: Production Systems with Robots and Handling Equipment. Diploma Thesis: Mechatronic Model of the Robot OJ10 in MSC/Adams Environment.

2004-2011: Doctoral studies at VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava, Department of Robotics under the supervision of Prof. Vladimír Mostýn.

Employed at the Deparment of Robotics since 2006 as research fellow, since 2008 as lecturer.
